Hi! Can I just say that I love the Arthurian myths and also love attempts to bring them into the current time or into the future? Also that Michael York is yummy? This is another Marcus episode, as well as a Stephen episode. The Garibaldi back-story I find annoying and a wee bit appalling. Abuse of his office, just a little? Stephen's behavior I also find appalling although it sheds more light on the single-mindedness of his character (or should I say stubbornness). The scenes with Arthur and G'Kar are a joy. Marcus and Stephen are also good togther whether serious or light-hearted. All in all a rather good filler episode, with a little background on the Rangers and the Earth-Minbari War, and some ramifications for Our Arc.

This is the discussion post for the prologue and the first part of Gregory J. Keys' Dark Genesis: The Birth of the PSI Corps. Spoilers for the whole of the series, including the spin-offs and tie-ins, are allowed here so newbies beware.

The first chapter introduces the discovery of telepaths and how the society reacts to them. How do you think the book holds up worldbuilding-wise so far? Does it fit the B5 universe even though there are no familiar characters?
