This one was a bit odd but then they all are. We see lots more of Galen and the Box has Gideon's voice now.
I am and always was a Galen fan. There seemed something desperate about Galen even before I read the Technomage trilogy. He obviously has his own agenda and we have to wonder if he actually left his order because of his involvement in outside affairs or because of Gideon. I really wish we'd gotten more of the story, dammit!
I have to say there is a rich ground there for slash writers and I have written several fics myself.

I always thought Gideon and Galen made a better pair than Goidepon and Elizabeth Lochley.
