A Call to Arms discussion

Apparently people didn't feel like discussing River of Souls? Hopefully Crusade will be more popular.

This is the discussion post for A Call to Arms. Spoilers for the whole of the series, including the spin-offs and tie-ins, are allowed here so newbies beware. If you have any fanworks related to this episode, you can also leave links to them in this post.

Summary:
Galen warns Sheridan about an attack being planned against Earth and he commandeers the new Alliance flagship Excalibur to prevent it.

Sorry about Rver of Souls. We never did around to watchingsince we have company but we did watch A Call to Arms" last night. I love the pilot for Crusade. I love the differences in the pilot and the series, even Dureena is a little different. I actually watched Crusade so many times when I finally got my hands on it that I knew every ep by heart. I seriously wish that we'd gotten all 5 years.

About the movie, it was nice to see Sheridan, Garibaldi and Zack once again. Was a bit surprised at how old Bruce already looked in this one. I have to say this though I am sure I am in the minority but I rather like Technomages and found Galen to be quite entertaining. I loved the way he and Dureena already seemed to be friends. I loved the bit about the Drazi sex organs. Maybe have sex organs in your armpits makes you a bit grumpy! It would me!

I might post some more later as this was just a drive by!

That is because Galen is awesome.

Sorry, don't have much to say - I don't have the movies on DVD, and it's been too long since I saw this one to say anything about it.

I do always wonder if the Drakh here are the same faction as the Drakh on Centauri Prime - I always imagine the Centauri Prime Drakh drawing up their plans, slowly, carefully sowing the seeds to ensure their revenge against the other races is complete, and then-

"HEY YOU GUYS! I found a Shadow Planet-Killer! Death to all humans! WOOO!"

-mass face-palms as some splinter faction goes on a rampage without bothering to check with anyone else...

Just a heads up, but Jeff Conaway has passed away. The star, who played Zach Allan on Babylon 5, passed away this Friday at sixty.

I've only just rewatched this, but don't have much to add.Anyway, I'm back after missing River of Souls, and am looking forward to Crusade (most of which I haven't seen yet, and the rest I don't remember...)
