Recap and discussion of 3 x 6 – Dust to Dust
The episode opens with an officer harassing a shopkeeper because he had a rude sign with Clack’s face x-ed out. The EA officer tells Sheridan it’s sedition and Sheridan disagrees but this shows us what is going on all over.
Garibaldi tells Ivanova Bester asked to come onboard. Bester says he’s there in pursuit of someone dangerous. Garibaldi says they won’t fall for that just as we see a man going mad somewhere on the station.
Sheridan calls them to a meeting and says they cannot afford to be scanned by Bester. Delenn has a plan.
Vir arrives back from Minbar. Londo is glad to see him.
Franklin and his staff see several dust related cases. In Medlab.
Ivanova is ready to shoot Bester when Sheridan stops her and assures her that Delenn’s plan will work.
Bester comes aboard and is met by Sheridan with a group of Minbari telepaths. They tell him that he must take sleepers before he is allowed to go about on the ship. He agrees.
Delenn is attempting t mediate between the Drazi and the Centauri but the Centauri want 7 worlds as a buffer zone and the Drazi will not agree to it. Londo tells them they will agree or they will be destroyed like the Narn homeworld.
Bester, it turns out, is after dust makers. He says the dust is deadly to telepaths. He says invading someone’s mind is addictive. Franklin agrees that they’ve been seeing more victims on the station.
We see G’kar buying dust from a drug dealer. G’kar tells him they plan on using it as a weapon. He tells him that all Narn telepaths were exterminated though he does not say by whom.
Bester babbles about protecting the earth. He says there are dangers they don’t even know about.
G’kar has taken the drug and is hallucinating and he can hear people’s thoughts as he makes his way down the corridor.
Garibaldi and Bester question one of the station crime bosses and he finally says he knows of the dust dealers and gives them enough info to find them. They do and get the dust from him.
Londo is reading Vir’s report from Minbar when G’kar shows up and beats both him and Vir. Then G’kar gets inside Londo’s head. He sees when Londo was sent to B5 because no one else wanted the job. He sees the shadows too though it’s not sure what they are. He sees the future as well when Kosh stops it.
G’kar seems to speak with his father, perhaps Kosh as a Narn and G’Lan. They tell him what he must do – that he must help his people.
Londo goes to Medlab and G’kar gets at least 6 months in jail.
Vir is heading back to Minbari and Bester meets up with another PsiCop and they reveal that they made dust to try to make telepaths out of humans.

Quotes:
G’Quon(?): We are fighting to save one another. And some of us must be sacrificed, if all are to be saved.
"(Laughing) Who would believe it? The great and powerful Londo Mollari got his job because no one was stupid enough to take it!" ~ G’kar

Questions:
1. Was the image that G’kar seemed to think was G’quon really Kosh?
2. Do you think Londo sent Vir to Minbar to protect him or to get him out of the way? Or both?
3. Do you think Kosh stopped what G’kar was seeing before he saw more than Kosh wanted him to?
4. If they knew the dust didn’t work on Telepaths, then what was Psi Corp ding with it?
5. Does Bester ever tell the truth?
