First of all I apologize for the lack of pictures. My photo-grabbing is primitive and all those beautiful space battle scenes go by so quickly they are a blur. So it's mostly Stephen and why the heck not? This is the culmination of his personal story and it resonates with me more and more as time goes on.
This is a funny episode with the quick back and forth cuts between the inner battle of one man and the epic battle of many. I disliked it back in the day, thinking of Stephen's story as unwanted interruptions to the main action. During one re-watch I watched it in two parts--all of the battle scenes first, fast forwarding through Stephen's story, then later going back to watch his scenes stitiched together. And I found I liked the personal story very much. This time through I was surprised at how little time was spent on Stephen! So I guess like all art, this episode changes with the viewer, and also as the viewer changes. It is one reason I like re-watches.
