This is truly the point of no return. Things happen on Earth that cannot be taken back and also on Babylon 5.
There are some startling resemblances to the current US political scene and, in my opinion, Clark can’t hold a candle to our current occupant of the WH. I guess the next few weeks will tell us how bad it really is here.
Plot points:
Londo gets his prophecy from Lady Morella. And we get to puzzle over it.
Clark declares martial law on Earth and now, supposedly, Nightwatch will take over security on B5. They have a meeting and are told to bring extra ammo. Zack is becoming upset by what they are doing. Garibaldi crashes their meeting and is relieved of his duty.
G’kar is released early for his own safety. He has an idea.
Sheridan figures out the code in a message he got from General Smits – it has to do with the chain of command. All orders to B5 must come from proper channels and the political office, who named Nightwatch security on B5, has no right to do so. He tosses them out.
He replaces them (many were station security) with the Narn – who G’kar offered as their part to help the humans, something he has become convinced he should do.
As the recap says, the shit has hit the fan and we will see consequences…
OHHH and Vir will be emperor as well someday!
