The Recap, divided, approximately by storyline:

This two part episode has a special place in my heart because of Draal, and the concept of the Great Machine, and what comes from that in Babylon Squared, coming up next, and War Without End, even later on. I never thought the concept of the Great Machine was explored enough, and I never understood why Delenn and Draal remained so far apart when they were quite close in space.

Garibaldi and Lise as a tragic couple never spoke to me. I don't particularly like her character but I never understood some of the active dislike sent her way. Garibaldi is a simple guy who has a simple romance; he himself says over and over that he never wanted to be part of changing the world. He follows his heart, working for his friend Sinclair, and then Sheridan, not for the cause. He works by relationships and by friendships. All he wants is his little piece of happiness, and as of now, that looks to be pretty far away.

In any case, tell me what you like and don't like about these episodes.
