Hi! I remember when I stated watching, because it was my mum who made me. I was a big trek fan at the time, which we watched together as a family, and she suggested that I might enjoy this new show Channel 4 where broadcasting. So, we sat and watched it. She and my brother liked it straight away, but I was a bit more reluctant to give up my diehard trekkie status. (I recall mocking the 'silly hair.') Anyway, around Signs and Portents I totally changed my mind. After that I was pretty obsessed! Though I lurked on Usenet a bit, I mostly posted on one particular mesage board, whose name escapes me at the moment, where I started writing fic. Ah, the neverending B5 story! I think I still have some of that on a floppy disk, somewhere... When that went down, I followed the mass migration over the Scifisites community, which was called something different at the time. After that I posted fic to anxst.com archive and hung with various people in aim chatrooms (Battlefields of slash!) and different mailing lists.

Nowadays I'm not very fannish about new stuff. I still love B5, various Trek, and recently got into X-Files, but I'm not as active in fandom as I used to be.
