Rewatch for Season 3, Episode 1 – Matters of Honor
And so it begins!

Livejournal
We get new people, a brand new ship and some odd developments in this episode.
Marcus makes his entrance as a Ranger. He is rescued from a small planet, Zagros 7, that is used as a Rangers training facility. The Centauri have blockaded it and He is bound for Babylon 5 to ask for aid.
Earth Force Intelligence shows up as well, asking questions about the ship Keffler filmed in space, the Shadow ship. David Endawi is the agent and he is actually a fairly nice man who is just trying to find out what the ship was.

Londo tells Mr. Morden that he is ready to end their association. We find out that Morden meets with lots of other people, too.
Marcus asks John and Delenn to check out Zagros 7. Delenn gives John the White Star – a ship made from Minbari/Vorlon technology. They take off for the planet and manage to blow up a Shadow ship. Go White Star and John!
In the end, when Endawi gives his report on Earth, Morden and one of the Psi Corps are there in the senator’s office! Things are much worse than we knew!
Oh and then there’s Garibaldi’s speech:
And what kind of head of security would I be if I let people like me know things I'm not supposed to know. I know what I know because I have to know it. And if I don't have to know it, I don't tell me or let anybody else tell me either… I try never to get involved in my own life. Too much trouble.
*
1. Even though he doesn’t know it, do you think Endawi was sent to make sure that no one knows what the shadow ship was?
2. Why does Londo want to disassociate with Morden?
3. I didn’t mention it, but how did Susan know about the Rangers?
4. What did you think of the White Star?
5. Also Action Delenn! w00t! Is she handy in a fight or what?
And so it begins!

Date: 2021-07-20 09:35 am (UTC)Marcus! Our dashing, infuriating, wonderful ranger! You know, when I listened to audiodrama EOS10, I was absolutely convinced Justin McLachlan is a massive B5 fan.
White Star is so cool but Sheridan is even cooler. A suicide move? Sure! I was just wondering, did they actually return to B5 in White Star? Because if they did, that ship is no longer a secret...
You know, I've never really figured out just how they're able to have highly secretive meetings in the Captain's office when there's no door? Or is there a door in the corridor that warns the people in the office that someone's approaching?
