Rewatch for Season 4, Episode 19 – Between the Darkness and the Light

And The Lurker’s Guide to Babylon 5
This is the episode in which Sheridan is freed, Londo and G’kar get the League of Non-aligned worlds to offer military support to Sheridan in his effort to free Earth, and Ivanova goes out in a blaze of glory – almost.
Lyta scans Michael to see if he is indeed telling them the truth – deep scan, too. He is, of course, so they have to get ready to free Mars when Sheridan is freed and he has an idea where he is kept.
Clark has a fleet of ships enhanced with shadow tech. They have spider legs – ugly as hell things. When they fight Ivanova, she makes one of her great speeches:
Susan, of course, is fatally wounded. When Sheridan comes to see her after he is freed, he tells her the truth – that she has a few days. She tells him she wants him to command the Agamemnon in the coming battle for Earth.
1. I asked in the recap and I’ll ask again – did this seem hurried to you?
2. How did Number One know that Lyta was showing her Garibaldi’s real memories?
3. Why did Londo commit to help Sheridan?
4. How did John sober up so fast from the drugs?
5. Why on Earth doesn’t Susan tell Marcus that she is not interested?
