Recap and Discussion for 4 x 7 – Epiphanies
We open B5 celebrating the end of the Shadow War and John watching from above. He tells Delenn that the war is over but there is much to be done.
Earth – a general tells Bester that Psi Corps, EarthForce, Nightwatch and the Ministry of Peace have a new mission – to discredit Babylon 5 and to shut it down permanently.
On Centauri Prime, Londo is preparing to leave for B5 for some reason and he tells the funny little minister that he has been chosen regent.
Franklin is examining G’kar’s empty eye socket and tells him he thinks he can fix him up with a prosthetic eyes though it will be one made for humans. G’kar says he’ll gladly take it. Franklin asks him why he turned down the chance to be ruler of his people. G’kar says the price for power is too high.
Garibaldi receives a coded message from somewhere… just a color pattern. A bit later he tells the others that he is resigning and going to start a detective agency. He says he deserves to find some happiness for himself.
Zack is telling his people what to do when people come aboard when Londo comes aboard. They joke a little and then Bester shows up as well. Zack makes a crack about the Second Coming when 3 Elvises come through (3 kings).
G’kar visits Garibaldi and thanks him, saying he paid small price to see his people free of the Centauri.
Capt. Sheridan makes Zack the head of security.
ISN report comes through. President Clark is banning all travel to Babylon 5, citing terrorist threats and such.
Zack goes to find Lyta for the Captain. She tells him that people only use her – he tells her people are leery of her association with the Vorlons.
G’kar speaks to Londo in the Zocalo.
Bester is upset that Lyta is there when he speaks to the Captain. She blocks him when he tries to scan the others. He tells Sheridan that Phase 1 of Clark’s plan is to discredit B5. He says he will tell them Phase 2 for a price. He wants to go to Z’ha’dum. Franklin reports to Bester that he is still trying to find a way to free Carolyn. Sheridan says he will take him. Bester says there is a security fleet in Sector 49 stopping ships coming to B5 and his mission to have Black Omega destroy the security force and blame it on B5.
Zack tells Garibaldi that he may be making a mistake but Garibaldi assures him he is not.
Sheridan and Delenn chat as they take Bester and Lyta to Z’ha’dum.
Earth Security in Sector 49 stop a ship and before it can attack, Ivanova and her Starfuries come of hyperspace and destroy the Black Omega ships. The Security cheap asks her where they’re from. She tells him and says they are not what he’s been told.
Bester asks Lyta how she can block him and she gets angry when he threatens her. He tells her she has a secret.
As they come to Z’ha’dum, they see an evacuation and Sheridan moves them away just as the planet begins to blow.
Zack shows Bester where Carolyn is being kept. He tells her that he would send his pilots to die again to save her, and to get in good with Sheridan.
Sheridan tells Lyta he knows she is why Z’ha’dum blew and if she does anything like that again without telling him first, he will give her to Bester. After he leaves, Zack shows up with pizza.
Ivanova says Clark is having a hard time explaining the ambush. John worries about the Shadow allies and where they went…
ON Centauri prime, the Regent says it was all a bad dream then exposes a keeper on his neck.

Quotes:
G’kar:
I have seen what power does, and I have seen what power costs. The one is never equal to the other.Bester:
Ms. Alexander has no business being here. She's a blip! By all rights, I should arrest her and take her back with me.Sheridan:
Oh, you could do that. And I could nail your head to the table, set fire to it, and feed your charred remains to the Pak'ma'ra. But - it's an imperfect world, and we never get exactly what we want. So get used to it!<.i>
Sheridan: Captain's personal log: the Shadow War is over. We won. But I can't stop thinking about what it cost us and how much work is still ahead of us. Then again, maybe the doc's right. Embrace the moment. In the end, it's all we have. Trouble will come, in it's own time, it always does. But that's tomorrow. Give me today and I will be happy.

Questions:
1. Is Bester sincere in warning Sheridan or is that the Psi Corps’ part in the plan?
2. Is Garibaldi Bester’s Ace in the hole?
3. Did you think it was a little fortuitous that Londo came to b5 when he did? A little too much so?
4. So who had an epiphany? Garibaldi? G’kar? Londo? Bester? Sheridan?
